The Massar project aims at improving the social and cultural life of young people in Syria. It encourages continuous learning to build their capacities. Syria’ young people have achieved much through Massar programmes. These are some of their success stories:
  • One activity during the Damascus Foundation Event was “make your own instrument”, we gave the choice to young people to take the instrument home or donate it to under-privileged kids.
  • The views of Massar’s partners and beneficiaries serve as an important indicator and a compass for the project in general.
  • Recently Massar Volunteer programme founded a new Syrian Volunteers website built by Massar beneficiaries aged 16 and 17 years old. The website includes a list of NGOs and the type of volunteer work that they offer
  • It’s been two years since Massar Choir has started, and over the time the choir has been able to occupy a special place in “Amwaj Massar” exhibition, using music as a theme to develop various skills in young people
